JUST IN: Armed robbers strike at a Salt Rock shopping centre
The last incident at the centre was in August.
Armed robbers hit Tiffany’s Shopping Centre in Salt Rock this morning.
The group of robbers accosted security guards and robbed them of their cell phones and other belongings at gunpoint.
The men are said to have fled in two vehicles.

Local shopping centres are no stranger to criminal activity with the most recent incident prior to this one having occurred in August.
(AUGUST INCIDENT)
Six men targeted two businesses at Tiffany’s – a liquor store and pharmacy – making off with an undisclosed amount of money, liquor, high-end goods and electronics.
The thieves fled when an alarm was activated.
Mall management opted not to provide official comment, saying that they were in the process of investigating the incident.
Umhlali SAPS were not available to comment at the time of publication.
