Three men were arrested for murder and house robbery after a two-day operation by the Ilembe Cluster Task Team together with Nsuze detectives last Thursday and Friday.
The men, aged between 19 and 23, were found hiding in Muden, near Greytown.
They were found in possession of four firearms including a rifle and one of them was found in possession of R7 900.
All three appeared in Greytown Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Their arrest comes after a murder on December 10 at Chibini in Nsuze, where four armed men entered a house and opened fire, killing Mandlenkosi Nzaca (58).
The men stole an undisclosed amount of money and three firearms before fleeing the house.
KwaZulu-Natal provincial commissioner, Lt Gen Khombinkosi Jula praised the task team and said this case proved that police would not rest until the perpetrators were brought to book.
