Cops offer R50k reward to recover stolen state vehicles at Ndwedwe
The men held the guards hostage before stealing the keys to eight vehicles.
The Saps have offered a reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of those involved in the theft of eight state vehicles on Monday.
Police are searching for eight men who allegedly overpowered the security guards at the Ndwedwe Department of Agricultural Affairs.
The men held the guards against their will on Monday evening around 9.30pm before going to the administration office of the building and stealing keys to the vehicles”.
“All eight vehicles are white bakkies,” said Colonel Thembeka Mbele, who said a reward of up to R50 000 had been offered.
