Positive Covid-19 case closes Mandeni revenue offices

The revenue offices in Mandeni will be closed until July 6 for the offices to be decontaminated.

The staff at Mandeni’s revenue offices are self-isolating following a case of Covid-19.

This is the first confirmed case amoung the staff of the iLembe District Municipality.

All officials who had been in contact with the infected person have been tested and are awaiting results.

As a precautionary measure, the revenue offices in Mandeni will be closed until July 6 for the offices to be disinfected.

During this period, the cash hall located inside the Mandeni municipality will be closed and ratepayers are urged to use other methods of payment; such as Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT’s), third party outlets (Spar, Checkers, Post Office etc.) or via cellphone banking.

Use your account number as a reference number and email proof of payment to sandile.myeni@ilembe.gov.za.
