Foxhill Road which runs alongside the Sasol Salt Rock petrol station towards Sage Restaurant and to Sizani Combined Primary School is finally receiving a deserved upgrade, thanks to local residents.
The road has been in a dilapidated state for years posing a danger to cars which use it everyday traveling to the school and to surrounding residential homes.
Linc Church is also in the process of completing their new church facility in Foxhill.
In conjunction with their building the church has taken it upon themselves to upgrade the community road.
Project manager and member of Linc Church, Dubs Heydenrych said money for the upgrade was donated by local residents.
“The project is funded by the generosity of a man who is part of the Linc Church community in conjunction with the municipality.”
Work on the site began over three weeks ago and Heydenrych said they were going to tar about 600 metres of the road.
Sizani principal, Ntombenhle July said they were elated that their pupils will now have a walk way to school.
