ibeach festival on its way

The festival will culminate in an 18 hour dance party.

The Ilembe district will play host to this year’s ibeach Xperience event to kick off the festive season.
After a resounding success last year on the South Coast, this lifestyle and music festival intends to be bigger and better this year on the North Coast, and will take place from December 12 to December 15.
Featuring a variety of popular DJ’s, beach parties and adventure activities such as quad biking, 4X4 trails, micro-lighting and jet-skiing, the festival aims to offer something for everyone.
The festival will have activities by day at Zinkwazi and Blythedale beaches, while night time revelry will take place  in Mandeni and at the Tugela mouth, culminating in an 18 hour dance party beginning midday on Sunday, December 15.
“We are excited to host this event, which promises to put Ilembe on the map,” said Ilembe deputy mayor Dolly Shandu.
Programme director and acting CEO for Enterprise Ilembe, Zakhele Gumede, could hardly contain his excitement, saying that Ilembe “has got it all”.
