Stanger Manor without water

Municipality estimates water should return by 3pm.

A break in a water main has caused a major water interruption in the Stanger Manor area.

The Ilembe district municipality explained that a water main on the corner Tasneem Road and Grey Ridge Drive is not working.

Water pumping will be stopped for four hours.

“Even though there is water available in the reservoir at the moment it will run out leaving residents without water for a few hours. Repairs are currently being carried out and pumping will commence at 12pm today. Water is expected to be back on by 3pm this afternoon.”

Water tankers will be sent to affected homes.

The municipality apologised and asked the community to bear with them.

“Your patience and understanding whilst we are dealing with this matter is highly appreciated.”
