Julie to serve her second term
Julie Cloete was re-elected as The Rotary Club of Zimbali's President.
The Rotary Club of Zimbali has re-elected Julie Cloete to serve as their president, for a second term of office.
Cloete told club members at the induction dinner at the Fig Tree restaurant at Zimbali last week that the club has experienced a highly successful year of fundraising and support for needy projects. Celebrating their fourth year, the club raised money primarily through the Miss Ballito contest, Christmas tree sales and golf days, and in turn spent the money on wheelchairs, schoolbooks and shoes, and facilities for various school and orphan projects.
Rotarian of the Year was Kosh Thaver and a Paul Harris award for excellence in Rotary service was presented to Brian Elmes.
