A Colwyn Drive resident woke up to find items valued R 58000 stolen.
The following crimes were attended to by Umhlali SAPS this weekend.
- On Friday a Colwyn Drive resident woke up to find items valued R 58000 stolen.
- A Shakas Rock resident went to sleep with his door closed but unlocked on Saturday and woke up to find his cellphone stolen.
- A silver Toyota Tazz was stolen while it was parked at Rocklane Parking in Shakas Rock on Saturday.
- On Saturday two woman were held up at gunpoint while they were walking on Ballito Drive towards the R102 Compensation. A hand bag with food, money and jacket was taken.
- On Sunday a four months pregnant Shayamoya resident was assaulted by four men and one women.
- A Nkobongo resident found the padlocks of his house removed and entry gained his cards, money and drivers license were stolen.
The Umhlali SAPS urged resident and holiday makers not to leave valuable items in their cars when they visited the beach.
