Arts fest at Crawford

Crawford Preparatory North Coast recently hosted their inaugural ‘Crawford Arts Festival’.

Pupils from grade 1 – 7 had the opportunity to enter into a number of categories including public speaking, choral verse, individual poetry, monologue, prepared reading and unprepared reading.

External adjudicator, Marcelle Pincus, spent two days listening to the pupils’ presentations.

Acting deputy principal Sonia Jansen said: “We are so proud of the high standard that all our pupils achieved during the festival. We look forward to next year when we hope to include many of our surrounding preparatory schools.”
