Weekend crime report

Five residential robberies.

Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes activities this weekend.

· A Nkobongo resident came back from work on Friday to find the door of her house forced opened. Items valued R6800 were stolen.

· A man was found dead by hanging at his home on Friday in Etete. His body was transported to Stanger mortuary.

· On Saturday in Kudu Road, Ballito, a resident woke up to find out that entry has been gained into his house through a sliding door. Items valued R85 000 were stolen.

· A Sheffield resident woke up on Saturday to find items valued at R38 000 stolen.

· A Tinley Manor resident woke up on Sunday and found the sliding door half open and items value 10 000 were stolen.

· On Sunday a Shakas Rock resident went to sleep, left the main door closed but not locked. When he woke up he found out that items valued R55 000 were stolen and his car was moved out of the garage and crushed into a tree inside his yard.

· A man was stabbed on his stomach on Sunday in Shakashead while he was at a tuck shop. He was taken to Stanger Hospital.
