On a medical mission
A medical camp was hosted by the North Coast Independent Practitioners Association, in partnership with the department of health, Lancet Laboratories and Mediclinic Victoria.
More than 150 adults and children from Top Shop, Stanger flocked to the Stanger Training Centre grounds, where they received physical and spiritual nourishment on Saturday.

The unique partnership was a first for the area.
Residents had their glucose and blood pressure tested while the children received their immunisations. Females were also able to have pap smears done.
Trained professionals also provided those present with information about family planning as well as HIV/Aids.
Bethel Baptist Church together with Sanlam hosted the second part of the programme where they provided snacks and lunch to all who attended.
They also provided ministry, music and sporting activities at the event for the underprivileged residents.
