It is that time of year again and the festive season is at our doorstep which means it’s Christmas County Fair time again! The 62nd annual Christmas County Fair is taking place on October 29 and 30 at Collisheen Estate, Ballito.
This year the fair has been revamped and the more than 80 stalls hold a promise of more inspiration and ideas for Christmas gifts, dècor, meals and entertainment. The focus is on locally sourced and manufactured goods and exciting new stall holders will participate along with many old favourites from previous years.
An entire marquee has been set aside for all things Christmas and a dedicated food area will serve al fresco lunches and selected deli style food items will also be for sale.
Celebrity chef Joani Mitchell will present Christmas cooking and styling demonstrations, showcasing both traditional and coastal Christmas menus and dècor. The cost is R300 and bookings are essential. Contact Michelle Blake on michelle@thechristmasfairfund.co.za or 083-284-9059.
Entrance to the fair is R50 per person and includes tea or coffee and snacks. There is no charge for children younger than 12. All funds raised will be distributed to local Christmas Fair Fund supported chrities.
