Even the rain on Sunday morning failed to stop people from donning their pink t-shirts and caps and walking for breast cancer.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk was hosted by the Ballito Autohaus and the Ballito Lions Club.
“We had about 150 people and if it had not been raining we could have attracted about 300 people,” said customer relations manager of Ballito Autohaus, Revash Naidoo.

The results were as follows:
Children 4 km- first Richard Paterson, second Craig Johr, and third Dylan Johr. Children 8km – TiaanSmith, second Daryn Taylor, and third Keetan Taylor.
Ladies 4 km – first Azraa Battlemann, second Pam Cawood, and third Beth Venter. Ladies 8 km – first Chantal Oosthuizen second Lindy Elmes and third, Heidi Gibson.
