Ready, set, go!

Get ready for the Lions' annual Amazing Race.

Every year engines roar as Ballito-ites get kitted in outrageous costumes and prepare for the Ballito Lions’ Amazing Race.

This year’s theme is ‘Life’s a Beach (and then you drive)’.

This Sunday entrants will race around Ballito, solving clues and completing challenges in a bid to be named the champions.

This event is suitable for all ages and will end in a family day at the Lions Hall at Townsend Park, with food and refreshments on sale as well as entertainment for the whole family.

“We have loads of prizes for participants and spectators alike. There will also be prizes for best dressed!” said Lion Gavin Higgins.

Live music will be provided by Dave Rondi and Phil Moffett, Sugardance Dance Studio will perform and a jumping castle, a big screen TV, cash bar, and more.

Entry is R50 (kids under 12 R20).

Meet at the Ballito Lions Club, Townsend Park, Ballito at 9am on Sunday, November 9.

For entry forms or more information contact Gavin Higgins on 083 654 6405 or Ralf Driftmeier on 083 419 3069 or e-mail G.M.Higgins@hotmail.com
