The adventure begins for Summerhill
NGO making good progress with planning and fundraising.
Summerhill House held a successful fundraising event with Graeme Duane at All Soul’s Anglican church on Friday November 7.
Graeme’s talk touched on man’s interaction with the wild and he showed wonderful footage of both his animal encounters as well as his recent life threatening experience in Nepal.
The NGO was also happy to report that after many years of planning and fund raising their plans for their home in Etete have been passed at EXCO and their water connections was installed.
Electricity will be connected by the end of November and the building of phase one will commence as they open in January.
Phase one includes the first children’s home and development centre.
Summerhill House extended their thanks to every person and sponsor that made the evening possible.
