Police search for missing girl

Last seen on November 20.

A seven-year-old girl has gone missing from her mother’s home in Upper Tongaat.

Nthombifuthi Sithule went missing in Vebara compound in Ridge Valley last Thursday, November 20.

Umhlali SAPS’ Colonel Jackie Papayya said the child’s mother was at work and her grandmother was looking after her at the time.

“The little girl lives with her father in KwaDukuza and was visiting her mother for a few days,” said Papayya.

It is believed that Sithule attempted to walk back to her father’s house in KwaDukuza on her own.

Papayya said a few people had spotted the young girl along the way and she was last seen near Vlakspruit, wearing a red top and red skirt.

Anyone with information that could assist the police in their search is urged to urgently contact detective warrant officer Vishal Chain at the Umhlali SAPS on 083 787 0119 or 032 947 9900.
