Little dancers on point

Twenty-nine boys and girls from the Celia Davis School of Ballet in Ballito recently took part in their annual official Cecchetti Ballet examination.

Not only did the pupils achieve a 100% pass rate, they went home with 20 merits and nine distinctions between them throughout the Test and Grade levels.

Twelve pupils achieved results of 70% or more, which meant they qualified to partake in the prestigious Cecchetti KZN Gala Performance, which was held at The Playhouse Opera Theatre on October 25, to two sold-out performances. This annual event is a showcase celebrating excellence in dance.
