Can you walk from Shakaskraal to Stanger? Well you should have been part of the KwaDukuza Cluster Men for Change 16 km walk against women and child abuse on December 4.
About 80 policemen from across Ilembe and KwaDukuza residents made the long trek on the R102, singing songs as they went.
School pupils Nonduduzo Khumalo and her friends Nonjabulo Mgombhozi and Neli Dladla said they enjoyed the walk although it was tough going so far.
“We will definitely take part next year. It was fun and to us it is something to be proud off,” said Khumalo.
Men for Change public relations officer Sbusiso Khumalo said they were happy with the turn out.
