Westbrook beach turned into dump

Westbrook party mess upsets residents.

Westbrook was swarming with metro police and upset residents this morning, after an illegal drinking fest last night.

The first parking lot between the M4 circle and the lifeguard tower was strewn with litter, broken glass and even vomit.

“Why do we pay such high rates if the municipality allows this kind of behaviour?” asked Westbrook resident, Louise Patterson, who had to drive through the drunken horde on her way to her home last night.

It has been reported that two or three policemen were stationed at the circle near the lifeguard tower last night and blocked the second parking lot, but the first parking lot was left open.

“I am truly distressed about this situation,” said Coucillor Geoff Pullan, who was on scene this morning.

Blythedale beach also suffered from an out of control party, with hundreds of hooligans drinking, chanting and doing donuts in the beach parking lot and around the residential area.

Residents stated that they were terrified of the drunk, loud and reckless party mob causing havoc in their town.

“This is only the beginning of Christmas,” said one of the drunk party goers, with a big smile, while striking a party pose for our camera.
