Awesome science fair at Prep
Pupils made a great success of challenging topic.
Crawford Prep North Coast recently hosted its’ 2014 Science Fair for grade Seven with the theme ‘Investigating change in the world as we know it.’
Pupils had been given their themes with guidelines on what, where and how in the first week of March.
They were closely guided in each of the stages of the project by their parents as to whether they were on the right track or not.
Parents were encouraged to make suggestions and help with the flow of their ideas.
The most challenging part of the project for the pupils had been finding a topic that interested them, setting up the questions and investigating answers.
This step gave the grade seven pupils the opportunity to reassess what they wanted to do and make the necessary changes. After getting the first step right, the rest of the stages would follow more smoothly.
