Kids got a reason to smile

Orphans and underprivileged get showered with joy, gifts and treats.

The staff of Standard Bank Tongaat brought joy and smiles to orphans and some underprivileged children on Wednesday December 10 at the Tongaat Central Library.

The children were so excited when they each received their gift.

The party treats also included chocolate, chips, juice, colouring-in books and a bookmark.

Novesh Pillay, manager and co-ordinator of the project from Standard Bank, addressed the children, highlighting the importance of education and the role libraries can play in their lives.

Tongaat Central Library thanked the entire team of Standard Bank for partnering with them and affording the community the opportunity of receiving great gifts for the children.
