Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
· On Friday a Sheffield resident woke up to find a window of his house on Colwyn Drive broken and robbers gained entry. Items valued at R19 000 were stolen.
· A Green Honda CVR registration number NT 46992 was stolen on Saturday morning from where it was parked opposite La Montagne in Ballito.
· A businessman and his employees were held up at knife point on Saturday in a store in Umhlali. The store owner was stabbed in the back and cell phones valued at R4000 and R8000 were taken.
· A man was stabbed in the chest on Sunday at Shyman Farm in Shakaskraal.
· A man was assaulted on Sunday at a club in Ballito. He was taken to Alberlito Hospital.
· On Sunday a Shakashead resident was attacked and stabbed by a group of people in a butchery.
· A Ballito resident on Compensation road woke to find the sliding door of his house forced open and his home burgled.
Umhlali SAPS arrested 34 people for drinking and driving this weekend, 12 shebeens owners with no liquor licences and four people found in possession of drugs.
