Weekend crime report

Valuables stolen out of cars.

Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes on the weekend:

· On Friday, a woman was at the Santorini Tidal Pool, Chakas Rock, when a man threatened her with a broken bottle and took her iPad and iPhone. Both valued at R9050.

· In Frasers, a man was at his truck at Ally’s Sand Pit and two men held him up at knifepoint. Money and a cell phone was taken.

· A resident at Lucky Linton Cottages, Glendale Road No 3 woke up on Sunday to find her company car broken into and the front loader car radio was stolen.

· An elderly couple was held up at knife point at their home on Stella Road Ballito on Sunday night, when two men entered their house. They stole money and valuables. They then tied them up with an electric cable. One man was arrested.

· On Sunday at Christmas Bay Sheffield Beach, a fisherman’s black Ford Fairmont was stolen while he was fishing. The car registration number is NT 45 500.

· On Sunday morning Chakas Rock resident found the left rear glass of his car broken and items valued at R22 100 were stolen. The car was parked on Ocean Drive in Chakas Rock.
