The water situation in Zinkwazi has improved tremendously.
In a statement the Ilembe district municipality they said their technical service department is monitoring the situation and the municipality will advise whether the water interruptions will be lifted.
“The service provider found that two boreholes had burnt out because of low yield.”
The boreholes motors have been replaced and all four boreholes are working.
Last week the Courier reported that the Zinkwazi reservoirs were running very low, necessitating daily water interruptions until the reservoirs’ water levels are back to normal.
