Bullets fly in Stanger

A shoot-out between the Hawks and unknown assailants.

Another, allegedly taxi related, shooting took place in KwaDukuza (Stanger) last night.

Initial reports indicate a shoot-out between the Hawks, and unknown assailants in Warren Road, Stanger Manor.

This is only a few streets away from the shooting that took place in Primrose Street on January 14 where a convoy of Maphumulo Taxi Association owners and security guards were ambushed and three people died.

The Maphumulo Taxi Association regularly meet at a house in Warren Road.
