
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
- On Friday a man was admitted to Alberlito Hospital after he was assaulted with a glass at a Ballito nightclub and sustained injuries to his head.
- A Nkobongo resident came back from work on Friday and found his house broken into. Electrical appliances valued at R2400 were stolen.
- A man parked his black VW Golf on the R102 in Shakaskraal on Friday. When he came back to his car, the passengers’ door was open and cash and his Samsung tablet were stolen.
- An Etete resident was assaulted and sustained injuries to his head on Saturday. He later died at the Stanger Hospital.
- On Saturday a 17-year-old boy from Shakashead was murdered, stabbed in his back and chest.
- Three turning units were stolen from the Shakashead railway track on Saturday. The units are valued at R150 000.
- On Sunday a man parked his car on Compensation Beach Road near Willards Beach in Ballito and his car was broken into an items of value stolen.
