Jacqueline shines at Caxton Awards

North Coast Courier journalist a finalist in excellence awards.

The Caxton Excellence Awards were held on Thursday, March 19 in Johannesburg where the cream of the crop, the best of the best community newspapers and GetIt magazines are recognised.

This included the North Coast Courier where journalist Jacqueline Herbst took the limelight.

Herbst was a finalist in the most promising newspaper journalist of the year category. Caxton selects only the best new journalists from hundreds of entries from the entire Caxton stable.

In the feature photo of the year category, Herbst received a highly commended award for her photo of stand up paddleboarder Steve Honeysett on the beach at sunrise.

The North Coast Courier is very proud of these achievements and we endeavour to continue to give you, our loyal readers, the best community newspaper on the Dolphin Coast!
