In celebration of the South African Library Week last week, the Umdloti Library invited children and their parents to an outdoor story time session.
The children gathered around and could not wait for Lolly Naidoo, the assistant librarian, to start reading about the rooster which did not want to crow.
When the story was finished, the children got boxes of colourful crayons and colouring-in pictures and the little artists got to work.
The Umdloti Library will be doing afternoon story time and crafts sessions every Thursday from 3-4pm and everyone is invited.
