Two injured in Watson highway crash

Vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop.

Late on Wednesday evening a vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop on the side of the Watson highway in Tongaat.

The accident left one person in a critical condition with life threatening injuries and another escaped with only with minor injuries, said Netcare911’s Chris Botha.

IPSS Medical Rescue’s advanced life support paramedics and Netcare911 stabilised the injured.

Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue said the paramedics used advanced life support intervention before transporting the patient to hospital, while Botha said the other passenger refused further medical care.
