The municipal pound kennels were in need of a revamp and thanks to the Ballito community, they are now bright and shiny.
Alistair Feuilherade and Timothy Lyle of X-treme Cleaning Solutions made sure the area was squeaky clean before the kennels were painted.
Warren du Plessis arranged the paint, which was donated by Bastion Paints, and Natanie Slabbert and Meryl Knox got the paintbrushes out and gave the kennels a new look.
“We are so thankful to these kind and generous people and we appreciate all their hard work and interest in the welfare of our precious animals,” said Dolphin Coast SPCA branch manager and inspector Debbie Filmalter.
Now the animals in the pretty kennels just need to be homed.
