Support the Cuppa for Cancer fundraising event and you could be jetting off to Cape Town for a quick getaway!
Organiser Lisa Roberts said they hope the Cuppa for Cancer will become an annual event in town to not only raise awareness but raise funds to support different cancer initiatives.
“We are expecting around 150 ladies to join us on the day at Braeside for a fabulous morning filled with inspiring guest speakers, pop up shops and a fashion show,” said Roberts.
The event is scheduled for October 17 at Braeside Wedding Venue in Ballito, but in the meantime organisers have set up a raffle to raise funds for the event, offering anyone who buys a ticket for R50 the chance to win an incredible prize.
“The winner of the raffle will win two domestic flight tickets to Cape Town and two nights accommodation at the Lanzerac Hotel in Stellenbosch with car hire,” said Roberts.
The lucky draw will go down at the event on October 17. The raffle is open to all, even if you cannot be at the Cuppa for Cancer.
Roberts said they would like to see the event grow into a not-to-be-missed date on Ballito’s social calendar and any support from local businesses and individuals will be much appreciated.
