Strong to gale force winds are expected for the rest of the day
Dolphin Coasters are advised to stay indoors today, as the howling south westerly will continue to blow a gale.
SA Weather Services forecaster, Wiseman Dlamini said the strong to gale force winds are expected for the rest of the day along the North Coast.
“The wind has subsided from 40-45 knots this morning to about 35 knots this afternoon,” said Dlamini.
He said the wind is expected to remain at about 30-35 knots (about 60 kilometers per hour) this evening and should drop to between 20 and 25 knots tomorrow.
“We advise people to stay indoors and avoid standing or parking under trees.”
