Explosion injures five staff in Ballito restaurant
The injured were taken to local hospitals.

Five Fiamma Grill kitchen staff at Coco Der Mer Boutique Hotel were rushed to hospital after an explosion in the restaurant’s kitchen earlier today.
It is alleged that a gas cylinder had exploded leaving three males and two females with minor to moderate injuries, consisting of minor burns to their face, backs and hands, said paramedics.
The staff were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by Netcare 911 as well as IPSS Medical Rescue to hospital for further treatment.
Restaurant management had not responded at the time of publication.
