Search for child swept off flooded bridge in Darnall called off
A 7 year old child was swept away off the Soweto bridge in Darnall.
A seven-year-old child was reportedly swept away off the Soweto bridge in Darnall this afternoon.
Paramedics and SAPS K9 Search and Rescue are on scene at the Nonoti river in Darnall searching for the missing child, however severe weather conditions and lightning have made the search too perilous.
IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst said the search would continue at first light tomorrow morning.
