Eskom to start stage 2 loadshedding from 9am – Thursday
Eskom appeals to its customers for a collective effort in reducing the demand of electricity supply by switching off all non-essential appliances.

Eskom has resumed stage 2 loadshedding today starting at 9am until 11pm tonight.
“While good progress has been made with additional units being returned to service, stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented on Thursday as breakdowns are still above 9500MW,” Eskom said in a statement released on Wednesday evening.
Eskom said that another update on the progress made would be made available within the next 24 hours.
“We remind customers that loadshedding, regardless of the stage, is no cause for alarm as the system is being effectively controlled,” said Eskom.
