In case you thought it was a hoax, it wasn’t, stage two loadshedding is back

Stage two loadshedding is likely to continue on Friday and the weekend.

Stage two loadshedding will be implemented nationally between 9pm tonight and 6am tomorrow.

System constraints and depleting emergency resources have been blamed and Eskom said stage two was likely to continue on Friday and into the weekend.

“The risk remains but we will review the status of the system and communicate in the morning,” Eskom said.

Stanger (KwaDukuza Northern Grid) (Tinley Manor to Zinkwazi) will be off from 2am – 4.30am.

Ballito (KwaDukuza Southern Grid) (Tinley Manor to Zimbali) will be off from 10pm – 00.30am.

Tongaat will be off from midnight until 2am.

Mandini will be off from midnight until 2.30am.

Should stage two be implemented for Friday:

Ballito (KwaDukuza Southern Grid) (Tinley Manor to Zimbali) will be off from 10pm – 00.30am.

Tongaat will be off from 10am to midday.
