Stage four loadshedding continues at 9am, get your times here

The sea water circulating pump was damaged and Eskom suspects it will take a number of days to have the unit repaired.

The struggling power utility will this morning at 9am ramp up from stage two to four owing to a shortage of power following unplanned breakdowns at Koeberg yesterday.

“Koeberg unit one was disconnected from the grid due to a fault on the turbine section – the nuclear reactor remains safe.”

However, the sea water circulating pump was damaged and Eskom suspects it will take a number of days to have the unit repaired and brought back into service.

 

This is how you will be affected by loadshedding today:

Stanger: 8am to 10.30am and again from 4pm to 6.30pm.

Ballito: 8am to 10.30am and again from 4pm to 6.30pm.

Tongaat CBD: 8am to 10am.

Mandini A: 10am to 12.30pm and again from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Mandini B: 2pm to 4.30pm and again from 10pm to 00.30am.
