Waterberry and Warren Loader fill in the gaps of history

From stories that mesmerised every individual to the food that was scooped up from every plate, all guests were left feeling full and informed.

Waterberry was packed to the brim with excited locals looking to clutch onto the wisdom of Warren Loader on Saturday, March 5. With a lending hand from the Kijk Optometrists, Muddy Boots Salt Rock, Eden Life Mobile Massage, Sun International Sibaya, Amika Beauty

Therapists and Kingdom and Co. Coffee Shop, every guest was given a wide insight into local Ballito history from the landscape that makes up Warren Loader’s mind, all for the goodness of the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

From stories that mesmerised every individual to the food that was scooped up from every plate, all guests were left feeling full and informed.

The former boy scout, soldier and farmer left an unshakeable imprint on every person around from each background.

“I was fortunate enough to spend five years at Weston Agricultural College as their farm manager. Working at such a historical place gave me the opportunity to meet like-minded people and the rest is what they call history,” said Loader.

Transported back in time would be an understatement for every hooked guest at Waterberry.

All listeners enjoyed a hearty lunch and left with a a graceful knowledge of the history that makes up their local holiday town of Ballito.
