Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop webinars have continued to grow in popularity.

Held on a weekly basis – every Friday at 11am – they have been a place of sanity and comfort for struggling small business owners around the country during lockdown.

The powerful duo, anchors Margaret Hirsch and Action Coach’s Marlene Powell, give practical advice on how entrepreneurs can keep their businesses healthy during this extraordinary time in our history.

They are always joined by panelists who share their experiences to help business owners through this crisis.

Last week they were joined by Consumer Watch’s Wendy Knowler and Action Coach’s Harry Welby-Cooke.

Wendy pointed out that at times like this, CEO’s need to make a commitment to be the go to person when it comes to consumer complaints.

“Communication, even if it’s not going to be positive, at a time like this is vital and the CEO needs to be in the front-line when it comes to dealing with the public,” she said.

With regards to bookings made and cancelled, the CPA still stands and refunds need to be given she said.

Harry Welby-Cooke, the Master Licensee for Action Coach South Africa said that knowing businesses are going to take a knock, but understanding that they can still survive, was extremely important.

“Don’t keep looking at the negative. There are also a lot of positive things happening right now,” he said.
