Help the Orphan Fund help kids who need school shoes!
That 'new school shoes' feeling is a difficult one to beat, especially if you've been stuck with the same pair for more than a year, and we all know how fast children's feet grow!
If you spend as much as R500 at your local Spar, your till slip qualifies you to buy one pair of Bata shoes at a cost of R40 as part of the Spar School Shoes campaign – but remember to swipe your rewards card to qualify.
That ‘new school shoes’ feeling is a difficult one to beat, especially if you’ve been stuck with the same pair for more than a year, and we all know how fast children’s feet grow!
It is with this in mind that The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund is sending out an appeal to the North Coast community to donate their till slips to help those less fortunate.
Alternatively, claiming Bata school shoes at a cost of R40 is as simple as taking your qualifying slip to a Spar kiosk with a pair of shoes, and paying for them. School shoes may then either be dropped off in any of the Orphan Fund Christmas collection boxes, or at our offices.
Boxes can be found at Lifestyle Superspar, Tiffany’s Superspar, The North Coast Courier, All Souls Anglican Church Umhlali, Postnet Ballito, Umhlali Preparatory School and Curro Mount Richmore.
The Fund has identified 50 children in Ntshawini, aged 6 to 16, who are in need of shoes. Sized needed are: size 1 (10), size 2 (8), size 3 (9), size 4 (2), size 5 (1) and size 13 (20).
Gently used second hand shoes will also be accepted.
