10 million and counting as Mandeni fridge-maker donates limited edition fridges

Recipients of the South African flag-branded fridges included the iLembe Chamber of Commerce for Industry and Tourism and the Mandeni Municipality.

In celebration of having produced its 10 millionth fridge, Mandeni’s Isithebe-based fridge manufacturer KIC has donated 2 limited edition fridges to local bodies.

Recipients of the South African flag-branded fridges included the iLembe Chamber of Commerce for Industry and Tourism and the Mandeni Municipality.

KIC South Africa’s manufacturing executive, Trevor Graham donated one of the fridges to the chamber, happily accepted by chamber vice president, Lesa Bradshaw.

The second fridge was accepted by municipal supervisor, Nonhlanhla Zulu for Mandeni mayor, Thabani Mdlalose.

KIC has been part of the Isisthebe community for the past 46 years.

“We are honoured to be able to share our success with the municipality and the iLembe Chamber,” said Graham.
