Tyre Track Ballito celebrated residents of the greater Ballito area for their bravery during July’s period of unrest.

A special cocktail evening was organised last week by owner Daisy Govender to acknowledge the commitment locals displayed at checkpoints, protecting key infrastructure and businesses.

“As a community we were incredibly blessed to have the protection of local security that rallied around us.”

“On top of that, we saw an incredible joining of forces of everyday normal people and members of this community.”

“Thank you for keeping us, our businesses and our community safe. We are incredibly grateful safe,” said Govender.
