In the second part of the competition last Saturday, the show-stopping performance was by Fazlyn Naidoo who brought Giacomo Puccini’s ‘O mio babbino caro’ to life with her powerful voice, wowing the audience.

Although nervous at first, 13-year-old Holly Calder of Koa College regained her confidence midway through her performance of ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones and I.

Asked about her choice of song, Fazlyn said she had fallen in love with classical music this past year and thought she would give it a try.
