Ballito Lions Club give children a brain boost

Orphan Fund fundraiser, Mpume Vilakazi, said two boxes were delivered to Smile with Us and Enduduzweni Drop-In Centre.

The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund recently received 10 boxes of ‘brain food’ nutritional supplements from the Ballito Lions Club.

Orphan Fund fundraiser, Mpume Vilakazi, said two boxes were delivered to Smile with Us and Enduduzweni Drop-In Centre.

St Phillips AIDS Ministry Outreach, Usizo, Siyakhula Crèche and Pre-school, Nkobongo Resource Centre, the Sinikithemba Organization, Safe Haven for Children and Elders, and Isinakekelo Sabadala all received a box each.

“This shows the number of children that will be helped by this initiative and we wait to see how it changes their outlook, sometimes it takes an act that might look insignificant to change a community. The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund is truly grateful,” said Vilakazi.
