Addict support group opens doors at Grace Family Church in Ballito
Having relocated to the North Coast 4 years ago, the couple has started an addiction support group using a programme which has proven effective for around 15 years.

Having relocated to the North Coast 4 years ago, the couple has started an addiction support group at Grace Family Church in Ballito, using a programme which has proven effective for around 15 years.
Through Project Exodus, a programme used at the South Coast Recovery Centre with much success, the duo hosted their first support group evening on Tuesday this week.
Through Exodus, an accountability-centered approach on the road to recovery, the couple hopes to make a difference. The programme is focused on providing support to those who cannot afford it.

“We are here to create a shame-free, come as you are space for those who need it most,” said Kelly, who has first-hand experience about what it takes to walk the journey through addiction.
Barry is himself a recovering addict and they have been working with addicts for more than 7 years.
The support group will be held at Grace Family Church every Tuesday from 6.30-8pm.
