Orphan Fund high tea at Waterberry proves to be a floral affair

The 'floral affair' themed annual event raised more than R23 400 for orphans and vulnerable children within the newspaper's circulation area.

It felt like spring had come early last Friday when 90 ladies descended on Waterberry Coffee Shoppe in support of The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund’s High Tea.

Johanna Karlsson, Liezel Carse and Christine Grobler.

Ballito artist Natalie Deeb donated an original artwork which was painted in aid of the event and auctioned off on the day.

Khabonina Nkwelo, Kokesto Nkosi, Julia Davies, Ros Beaton and Munya Rabambi.

Guest speakers Jess Basson, Kgomotso Ndungane and Lesego Mpyana each encouraged the women with stories from their own lives.

Candice Clark, Monique Delport, Loren Taljard and Jolene Francis.

There was barely a dry eye in the house.
