#Update: Here are your latest loadshedding times

Eskom will be rotating between stages 2, 4 and 6.

Here are your amended and updated loadshedding times

Ballito Southern Grid:

Wednesday: 3-5pm, 5-7pm and 11pm to 1.30am.

Stanger Northern Grid:

Wednesday: 3-5.30pm and again from 11pm to 1.30am.

ORIGINAL STORY

Eskom says unlawful industrial action has crippled the state-owned utility provider to the point that it has had to implement stage 6 loadshedding, set to run from 4-10pm today.

The possibility of Stage 6 loadshedding was indicated earlier today as labour action caused widespread disruptions at Eskom’s power plants.

While three of the 10 generation units which tripped overnight have been returned to service, this has done little to improve the situation Eskom faces.

Loadshedding under stage 6 will also run tomorrow during the same time.

Stage 6 will reduce to stage 4 tonight at 10pm until midnight, before being reduced to stage 2 until 5am on Wednesday morning.

From 5am on Wednesday, stage 4 will return until 4pm before again being upgraded to stage 6 until 10pm.

Here are your times:

Ballito Southern Grid:

Tuesday: 4-6.30pm

Wednesday: 6-8.30am, 2-4pm, 4-6.30pm and again 10pm to midnight.

Stanger Northern Grid:

Tuesday: 4-6.30pm

Wednesday: 6-8.30am, 2-4.30pm and again from 10pm to midnight.
