Winners crowned in Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards

Just shy of 200 000 votes had been cast in The North Coast Courier's first Best of Ballito Readers' Choice Awards.

North Coasters have spoken and we are delighted to announce the winners in The North Coast Courier Best of Ballito Reader’s Choice Awards 2022.

The response has been nothing less than overwhelming with 862 businesses nominated across 121 categories and just shy of 200 000 votes cast.

Congratulations to all the nominees, runners-up and especially the winners.

The “Best of” awards have been popular features of Caxton local newspapers across South Africa for the last 25 years. It has become synonymous with recognising excellence and gives readers the platform to vote for and recommend their favourite local businesses to others.

Winner of six categories, Flag Farm owner Gen Chisholm said when she heard they had won she was left in tears and with goosebumps.

“It was so hard for me not to share that we had won the awards. It means the world to us and gives us a huge sense of self-worthiness,” she said.

See our Best of Ballito feature on pages 10 – 22 of The Courier newspaper for a full list of the winners.

You can also stay glued to the Best of Ballito website where results will be shared at midday on Wednesday.
