Ballito and Stanger businesses rally in support of thirsty Tongaat
Supertrack Distributors CC donated much-needed drinking water to Maidstone Primary School as well as Truro Land and Flamingo Heights residents.
Clean drinking water is a precious resource, especially in flood-hit Tongaat where potable water remains a recent memory.
“We also sponsored emergency lights to the elderly at an old age home in Stanger. A big thank you to all business partners involved in this wonderful effort,” said Sharmla Ramharry.
Food for Life KwaDukuza also prepared 108 pots to feed 27 000 people who come from underprivileged homes.
They had more than 450 people volunteer their time to prepare the meals.
Thank you to additional sponsors OBC Butchery Stanger and Raymens Stanger in memory of the late Dino Sukdeo.
